Prototype: Hanau temporary signal tower based on a type MCI temporary passenger car. During wartime and the postwar period, worn-out railroad cars were often turned into temporary signal towers due to a lack of materials. They were used this way during the transition period.
Model: This is an intricate laser-cut, exact model with numerous details. The model's frame, interior area, and superstructure are made of graphics quality cardstock. Window material is included. The model can be built with and without the base. Dimensions L x W x H approximately 125 x 32 x 34 mm / 5" x 1-1/4" x 1-3/8" (+ base L x W x H approximately 125 x 32 x 38 mm / 5" x 1-1/4" x 1-1/2")
